ABILITY (U16) ALPINE SKI TEAM

Loveland Ski Club’s Ability (U16) Ski Racing program is aimed at High School athletes. This program has a heavy focus in ski racing and is designed for the high school aged athlete who is seeking to balance ski racing and school. Two training options are available to work with your schedule: Full Time or Weekend.

On-Snow: November 2023 - April 2024

Ages U16 (2008-2009 birth years)

The Ability program provides dedicated athletes with the tools for personal success at USSS races in Colorado. At this level, athletes compete in Slalom, Giant Slalom, Downhill, and Super G, as appropriate. Using all the terrain Loveland has to offer, LSC's dedicated training venues, and LSC's unparalleled access to early season race venue training, tools are provided to help each athlete reach their personal best as the level of competition increases.

Athletes should be comfortable skiing all terrain at Loveland Ski Area. Athletes should have age and discipline appropriate race equipment. Proper equipment care becomes important at this level: from strapping and protecting skis, to ensuring that skis are in proper condition. Athletes will be provided tuning education and resources from their coaches.

Our Ability (U16) program offers either Full Time (5x week) or Weekend (Sat. & Sun.) commitments, based on the athlete's schedule and preference. Friday drop-in days are available for Weekend athletes, at an added cost.

FULL TIME Season Tuition (5x week): Starting at $9,000
Weekend season tuition (Sat & sun): Starting at $7,000
WORK DEPOSIT: $500
