About the scholarship
Every Saturday this winter, young racers from across the Front Range will be learning to ski gates at Loveland. Some of the kids who live closest to the mountain are the ones most likely to miss out, because a season of ski racing costs more than many families can stretch to.
The Powder7 Skiing For All Scholarship changes that for one Clear Creek County athlete this season. It covers full tuition for the 2026-27 Loveland Ski Club Youth Ski League (YSL) Team and adds a Powder7 gift card to help with gear.
It is needs-based, it is confidential, and it is open to all athletes.
The Award
Full YSL Team tuition for the 2026-27 season. Tuition includes a Loveland Ski Area season pass, 18 Saturdays of coaching from USSS-certified coaches, dedicated race venue training, and a team jacket loan.
A Powder7 gift card for skis, boots, or other gear the athlete needs for the season.
No work deposit. The YSL work deposit is waived for the recipient.

About the YSL Team
YSL is Loveland Ski Club's one-day-a-week introduction to ski racing. Athletes train on Saturdays across Loveland Basin and Loveland Valley and race in the Youth Ski League series.
A YSL season is about a lot more than gates. Athletes build fundamentals through the club's Method of Progression, then take those skills everywhere on the mountain: bumps, steeps, glades, deeper snow, faster groomers, and small jumps. Gate training is age-appropriate, starting with brushes, stubby gates, and dye lines and working up to slalom and giant slalom courses.
The goal is a skier who is stronger, braver, and more at home on the whole mountain by April, and who had a great time getting there.
