The staff members of the Loveland Ski Club bring a wide variety of experience and talent to our organization. Each staff member's focus and training is specific to their role within the club.

Each staff member is screened and has completed a background check as well as required CPR, First Aid, and SAFESPORT training.

Loveland Ski Club Elizabeth Booka Smith

Elizabeth "Booka" Smith

Head Programs Director

& Alpine FIS Coach

Booka is a Level 300 USSA Certified Alpine Ski-Racing Coach with over fifteen (15) years of experience coaching all ages and abilities (Devo/YSL/Age Class/Ability/FIS/Collegiate & Masters). Booka grew up in Golden, Colorado and raced for LSC during her high school years. Booka went on to race for Bowdoin College (Brunswick, Maine) (Div. II). She was a two-time captain and competed in multiple NCAA Div. I Carnival Races. Booka earned her law degree from Cornell Law School (Ithaca, New York) and has substantial experience as an employment lawyer and a highly successful small business owner. As LSC’s Head Program Director, Booka is committed to driving LSC’s success consistent with the LSC Board of Directors’ Mission Statements.

Loveland Ski Club Kelia Zigich

Kelia Zigich

Director of U16 & FIS Programs

Kelia is a trained Level 300 USSA Alpine Ski-Racing Coach with ten (10) years of experience coaching a wide variety of ages and abilities from Age Class athletes to College (USCSA). Kelia grew up in Golden, Colorado and raced for Winter Park during her high school years. Kelia went on to race USCSA for University of Colorado (Boulder, Colorado), competing in Regional and National Championships. Kelia earned her undergraduate degree from CU in Biology and French. Kelia has extensive experience in Sports Science and Conditioning. As Director of U16 & FIS Programs, Kelia’s goal is to push all LSC athletes to be the best they can be in sport and life and to make ski racing more accessible and enjoyable for all!​

Pat Burke

Director of Youth Programs

Pat is a Level 200 USSA Alpine Ski-Race Coach in training. Pat has seven (7) years experience coaching young racers (U10 to U16). Pat grew up in Goshen, New York and raced for the National Sports Academy (Lake Placid, New York) during his high school years. Pat went on to race for Castleton University (Castleton, Vermont), captaining the team his Senior year and racing in multiple National Championships. Pat’s undergraduate degree is in Business Management. As LSC’s Youth Programs Director, Pat’s goal is to bring a true team atmosphere into LSC’s growing youth pipeline and create the understanding that team “success” falls under the all encompassing umbrella that embraces factors such as FUN, friends, knowledge, coaches, parents and many others!

Cat Keve

Office Administrator

As LSC’s Office Administrator, Cat oversees operations across the Clubhouse office. She is your go-to point of contact for all questions, concerns, and general inquiry. You can find her in the Clubhouse offering a warm welcome and helping with ticketing, fundraising, race sign-up information, employment paperwork, gear, and more. Born and raised in New Jersey, Cat learned to ski from a young age all throughout the Northeast, mostly in Pennsylvania and Vermont. She moved to Colorado to chase after our amazing powder, and hasn't looked back since!

Molly Kollman

Age Class Coach

& Lane Training Coordinator

Seasonal Full Time

Molly is a level 100 USSA Alpine Ski-Racing Coach. She has two (2) years experience coaching youth athletes in Colorado and Wisconsin. Molly grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and learned to ski at Blackhawk Ski Club, a hill with 150 vertical feet and very icy snow. She trained with the Blackhawk Alpine Race Team and the Madison Alpine Race Team since she was eight years old. She attended Syracuse University where she was a four-year varsity coxswain for the D1 Men's Rowing Team and studied Chemical Engineering and Spanish. In 2023, she became a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, but left the field to join the LSC full-time staff. Molly is passionate about working with young athletes, teaching them the tools to improve their skiing on and off the race course, while also fostering a culture of success based on personal growth.
